One Way Travel Document

The Consulate General will issue a one-way travel document to Nepali nationals who, for various reasons, do not possess a valid passport and need to travel back to Nepal immediately.

This document will be issued only after verifying the authenticity of the applicant's national identity documents, such as a citizenship certificate, through due verification process.

Required Documents:

Applicants must submit the following documents:

1. Duly filled in Travel Document Application Form (click here for the form)
2. A copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate.
3. A copy of the Nepali passport.
4. For minor applicants: A copy of the minor/birth certificate and copies of both parents' Nepali citizenship certificates.
5. Three passport-sized photographs (45 mm x 35 mm).
6. A self-addressed prepaid return envelope with a tracking number (not required for self-pickup).

Fees: $ 50

Please note that the Consulate General only accepts Cashier"s Check or Money Order for payment at present. Please make the Cashier"s Check or Money Order in the name of CONSULATE GENERAL OF NEPAL DALLAS.

Processing Time: Processing time may take up to 2 business days.
