Introduction

The Government of Nepal on 10 January 2025 decided to establish its Consulate General Office in Dallas. Subsequently, the Consulate General was established in Dallas on July 8, 2025. The Consulate General has been assigned to cover the 8 States located in the Southern, Western and Midwestern regions of the United States of America, namely Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, and Mississippi.

Major functions of the Consulate General are:

  1. To provide passport and consular services to Nepali nationals.
  2. To explore and promote avenues of economic engagements; including in trade, investment, tourism, technology transfer, among others; between Nepal and the 8 States.
  3. To promote the interest of Nepal and welfare of Nepalis in the 8 States.
  4. To promote people-to-people relations between Nepal and the 8 States.
  5. To promote Nepal"s identity and enhance its dignity.
