The Consulate General will issue Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to foreign nationals wishing to travel to Nepal on tourist visa.

Applicants must complete the Online Visa Application form available at the following link (managed by the Department of Immigration of Nepal)

1. Required Documents for ETA (Tourist Visa)

1. Copy of Online Visa Application Confirmation Page: Please print and submit the confirmation page from the completed Online Visa Application.
2. Valid Passport: Passport with at least six months of validity from the expected date of entry into Nepal. The passport must contain at least two blank visa pages.
3. Copy of Valid US Visa or Permanent Residence Card (for applicants other than US citizens)
4. Visa Fee Payment: Cashier"s Check or Money Order payable to "Consulate General of Nepal Dallas"

* Please note that the Consulate General does not accept online payment or payment via bank cards at present.

5. Additional Requirements for Travel Document Holders: Sponsorship Letter from a Nepali citizen and a copy of the sponsor"s Nepali citizenship certificate. Click here to download the format of Sponsorship Letter.

2. Visa Fees

• For 15-day tourist visa: $30.00
• For 30-day tourist visa: $50.00
• For 90-day tourist visa: $125.00

3. Visa Processing Time: Up to 2-3 business days.
4. The applicant may visit the Consulate General during consular hours (10.00 am - 12.30 pm) with the required documents and the cashier"s check or money order for visa fee payment.
